Stop E55 whining

So having had my E55 a while now, the one thing that started to get on my nerve was the whining. I hadn't really noticed it a lot when bought,to be honest, being a big S/C I accepted it. But over last few months I really started to notice the 'whine'..

Long story short, after having kittens thinking the S/C was the reason , it turns out my aircon pulley had munched its balls

So after a replaced pulley I can not quite believe how quiet my E55 now is. Embarrassing how long I accepted it for

yup, and went up/down pitch according to speed

Ah, good that is sorted anyway.

I understand the whine is the oil pump anyway, not the SC itself which is what I used to think.

M113k is such a noisy engine. I find if I park with the nose down a slight incline the start up noise is much better.

Not sure whether it's an air pump or oil pump but all of them make a noise upon start up.
