Stop MP3 Playback without switching off COMAND

Guys

I have a COMAND in my (dad's) 220E 04 plate Elegance. However I don't seem to be able to stop the MP3 (or Audio CD) playback without turning off the entire COMAND unit. Obviously when you power off COMAND this disables the phone, the NAV and everything else too which isn't ideal. In other words what are you supposed to do if say after listening to an hour of music while being "navigated" you want to stop the music but leave the NAV on? Any ideas?

I have a "workaround" of switching the audio selector to AUX or I can simply Eject the CD, but you would think there would be a STOP or PAUSE button??? Lets face it there's a button for everything else in the car!

In my SLK i just use the mute button it actually stops the disk from spinning just like it would if i where to turn it off and when i press the button again it returns to where i stopped it. Don't know if its the same for them all but i can't see why not.
