OK weird one as I don't know the answer .......

A couple of weeks ago, I fitted 4 new tyres to SWMBO's car - normal steel rims / plastic wheel trims.

Last week lady luck smiled on me and kicked me in the nads. I was given a set of new alloys for her car complete with tyres <1000k miles usage :wallbash:

What is the best way of storing her previous rims / tyres for future use ?

I really have no intention of trying to sell them on.

Have stored wheels layed down flat in a garage, each wheel inside a black bag and they have been fine.

Inflated to normal pressure ?

Yes they were inflated at the normal pressure.

Yep - should be fine stored like that. As long as you're not planning on keeping them for something silly like 5+ years you shouldn't have any problems.
