With the colder weather officially here and the C43 not my daily runner I am considering renting underground car parking space and keeping here safe and away from the elements until march time

Few questions in relation to being parked up for that length

1) car cover ? is this necessary ?
2) conserving the battery - how do you all ensure it doesn't die ? its a gen MB one and looks fairly recent ? do I disconnect and lock car manually etc ?
Bearing in mind I probably wont have the facility to trickle charge it

That's all really

There's a few reasons why I am contemplating this route one which is my classic policy and spreading my annual mileage allowance

any advice welcome

I'd avoid using a cover if possible, better the car can fully breath imo. As for the battery I just disconnect it but make sure you have access to the boot with the key first or do as I do just in case and don't lock the split folding rear seats in place. I'd also stick a few more pounds into the tyres (40psi) and leave the handbrake off.
