Strange Judder

When I have my C270 in Standard gearbox mode, there is a lumpy type judder as the car is stationary, but in drive. Most noticeably felt, with the brake held on just enough to stop the car drawing forward at lights etc.

When the comfort gearbox mode is selected, there is no judder, vibration, etc

Not really sure how to describe it, so can't search for it lol

Any help appreciated

:o

Has the transmission fluid ever been changed or even checked for the correct level?

What year is the car?

hi

Yes I had it done at its last service, at the end of last year

I had a similar problem in a E Class and it turned out to be the torque convertor....possibility?

Yes, exactly as you mention in your opening post.

what is the best way to check the condition of the engine mounts ?

Also would anyone have part numbers for them ?

thanks

Look at them. They should be tall and not squat.

You don't need the part numbers. Just quite your chassis number to your MB dealer.
