Strange Problem

2005 ML320 W164

When I drive for over an hour the wipers sometimes fail to work! But if I stop switch off and restart they work ok.

I have replaced..
Rear sam (old one water damage)
Wiper stalk on steering column
Both relays in front fuse box
Been on star no faults!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update it tells me it is on single wire canbus wire fault from plug G on rear sam to overhead panel is there any way to test wires or do I have to strip car to look at wiring.

Just an idea, is the motor getting hot, does it have a thermal cut out switch?

Hi checked motor it does not get hot ??
