Strange Smell W211

Hi

When the car is cold and sometimes when warm i can smell something like rotten eggs.

No smell with air con on but without it will smell. Recently had air con service

It has only started a couple of weeks ago. And i do get smell sometimes when engine running warm fully

I think there was a bulletin (or just discussion) in USA forum about heat exchanger which accumulated some ¤#%¤& inside and started smell really bad after that. Also if heater matrix leaks slih´ghtly inside, it will smell.

Have you checked you owindshield drains are ok, not getting some foul smell on pool under fresh air filter in angine bay?

you dont have a boot full of rotten eggs by any chance?

I have had cars smell like this, it was the cats and nothing to worry about.
