On our place in Cyprus, there is a long upward sloping driveway running parallel to to the road with a retaining wall running along its length. The wall is about 5m at highest end up to one metre where the driveway turns towards the house.
My intention was a have a mural painted along the entire length. I thought, for example, a steam train with carriages would look good perspective wise or a line of trees or various planes of different sizes against sky………..you get the drift; something to take advantage of the perspective. If only I could find the right scene/picture……...
What 'WE' now have is locally sourced stone, rough cut/broken so it looks just like every other stone wall in the area. Ho hum. Just what I always wanted.
