Body found in search for missing British backpacker Grace Millane

Can't stop thinking about the Family and Grace all afternoon, she lies just up the road from one of my places and in almost the exact same place as Tracey if I am not mistaken!

Excellent Police work this time has the body and suspect within a week.

I saw this on the news a day or so ago when she was just missing and then the developments yesterday.

Terribly sad and obviously for that case from 43 years ago.

As a father of two teenage daughters both of whom are adored by us, I can find no words to describe the pain, hurt and absolute devastation felt by the family at this point.

What a sad ending to such a beautiful life.

2 daughters here too.....I'm not sure I'd wish that level of anguish even on my worst enemy. Awful.

There is a steady stream of people dropping flowers at the roundabout tonight - never seen anything like this in NZL before!

This guy once pleaded with Authority to let his daughter's killer out of jail so he could do to him what he did to his daughter.

He was deported!

Sound terribly unfair until you read further,
He was living in NZ illegally on a 30 day visitors visa since 1986 although hardly his fault as he was 4 at the time.
You'd think after living there for 57 years he'd be granted citizenship, but I guess rules are rules.

Re threatening his stepdaughters killer, the only mistake he made was saying anything IMO.
