If its all OK its simply a cheap car. People do sometimes need money and will take a hit for a quick sale.

It looks a fair price to me.

It books at about £7,500 trade.

I say competitively priced

Parkers price guide is no indication of trade prices, in fact they are useless.

My valuation is from CAP.

Some newer CLS320Cdi's were going through the auctions (posted on Piston heads) for 12K

So for a V8 an big miles its probably about right.

Great car for the money

For the record, I absolutely love the CLS and to look at one for £8,995 is an absolute steal.

If I could squeeze us 5 into the car, believe me, I would. That V8 is good for 4 times that mileage advertised.

Group buy, dieselman??

Actually I keep dallying with the idea of a CLS, but it would need to be a 350cdi and they aren't cheap...and I keep losing interest in changing my old bus...especially as it just got another 12 Months ticket on it today.
