Subaru LEFORG

I have to confess this one had slipped under my radar. The quaintly named Subaru Leforg. Based on their new universal platform for all their models its due in the UK in the Autumn. If its like its fellow models it will be awell engineered bit of kit but pricey! AT present the UK are due to get a turbocharged direct injection 1.6 petrol engine version but hope springs eternal there's a big WRX version waiting in the wings. The natural successor to that very underrated previous model Spec B 6 cylinder Legacy perhaps.
Coming to a Subaru Dealer near you soon??

Levorg --- sorry. Evidently named by combining the words Legacy, Revolution and Touring. Its evidently designed to replace the larger legacy station wagon altho how that will go down in the states Subaru's big export market remains to be seen.

They are doing a 295 bhp version for the home market but sadly it seems we have very little chance of getting it here. I had a brief chat to our dealer here about it and apart from having heard of it that was the sum total of their knowledge.

Doesn't look massively different to my Outback. That BRZ is, I think, a nice looking car, especially with Subaru's asynchronous AWD.
