I've been looking for an upgrade to my CL203 grill for some while & not found anything suitable so I set about a subtle change of my own.

A few months ago I placed self adhesive chrome back edging on the grill and its been fine have just purchased a small piece of perforated vinyl from a seller on e bay and set off.

I cleaned the grill and Cut the vinyl into strips of 75cm by 8 cm wide & began to stick them to the slats on the grill, & the difference was noticeable straight away.

The whole project was cheap & cost about £12 which is much, much cheaper than any aftermarket grill.

What do you think ?

That actually works well.
I think I like it.
And even if you get bored, it's easy to revert to the original.

Have you got links for the parts especially the chrome strip

Cheers

Ok cool :)

I have the 3M one, yours looked more rounded as mines a flatter profile.

I have a restoration job that needs half round chrome strip.
