Not a good moment today whilst driving from home to Newmarket.
All fine with the car until giving it a bit of a blast through the Hatfield tunnel, got up speed quickly but didn't feel quite right as I exited.
Vibrating when I next accelerated and not picking up properly, also engine management light below V8 Bi-turbo had come on.
This became progressively worse over the next mile or so and then when I met a slight incline I could feel the vibrating and lack of power become more apparent.
Limped onto hard shoulder and stopped, turned off ignition.
All sorts of nightmare scenarios going through my head
Restarted after a couple of minutes and warning light no longer illuminated.
Drove off and no further issues for the remaining 30 odd miles, although obviously I took it fairly easy.
Anybody any idea what could be wrong?
