I won a facelift bootlid in Azurite Blue off eBay last week :bannana: (£26 Mwa hahaha).

Anyway, the lid has holes from a spoiler that was attached, only small screw size holes...

I cant afford to take it to a bodyshop, so I would like a solution to filling them.

Is it possible to buy any kind of Pluggs that I could fit (water tight) and spray them? or is it possible to add some kind of filler etc?

Cheers

I'd use fibreglass from behind to blank the holes off then filler from the outside to fill them before sanding down to finish

Where would I get some fibreglass? I take it, it comes in paste form?

Also, what sort of filler?

Thanks

Why not purchase some chrome dome headed screws and insert those. Saves a boot respray.

fibreglass comes as resin, hardener and matting, mix the hardener and resin together then dab into the matting with a brush.

filler, Isopon P38 or P40 will do the job perfectly.

Both are available from Halfords or any car accessory shop

Andy

How about a small amount of fibra fill (fibre glass shreds in a paste) applied from the back (or anything else that will block the hole's) and then the hole is filled with drops of the right coloured paint till its level with the paint.
Ok it will take a while but at least then you dont have to repaint it.
Other idea is to get a spoiler to cover the holes

Cheers guys, will look into it
