Just found this amazing link to google earth , really fasinated by his car collection it would be a dream to go and see it .even his house looks amazing (see link )

hee hee - now that takes me back

I was fortunate to work in Brunei 1992 to 1996 on secondment to the Sultans Armed Forces, got the medal, the T shirt, played the golf, was on duty on various occasions at his palace, toured the car collection and more. Banqueted with my wife on his birthday celebrations etc . . . everything you typically hear in the press is almost true

Once whilst driving up the coast road I was overtaken by 7, yes seven, Mclaren F1's and every one a different colour - all on a post service road test.

and on another occasion passed a car in pitch dark finding his way on the same coast road with a TORCH held out of the window at the kerb . . .
