Summon Your Tesla S

If not due to the technology but getting it passed all the legislations..

Never say never...but, self driving is difficult enough...but with no one onboard???

The soon to be launched GM Bolt has the "garage parking" facility available, just get out the car press the button and the car will park itself, and most likely crush the mower you forgot to put away!

No, the technology is here already and once one manufacturer deems time to release there will be a flurry from others.

The reality is that the only thing a Model S can do that other cars can't is change lane by tipping the indicator stalk.

Most of the car industry is privately furious with Tesla (or, more specifically, Elon Musk) for its claims about self-driving as they're worried that the first serious accident that occurs when someone is using the autopilot (or, as it's now been quietly rebranded, "Autosteer") will set back self-driving cars by years.

The W213 has that too...you can guide it with your mobile phone.

I believe the Bolt is autonomous once the button is pressed, not sure how or what needs programming or setting up beforehand, details will obviously follow upon release.

MB just copied the James Bond 7 series Beemer ;)
