Sunroof & window probs

Hi I have an elderly e200 estate 124 model. electric window drivers side wont wind down. I have replaced the motor & the switch but still no good. I can hear a relay clicking somewhere when I press the switch. Problem is where is the relay? Also sunroof wont budge but can hear relay click. Any ideas. Thanks Rory in the south west of Ireland

Hi ruari, if it is anything like my W202 T (estate) then most of the relays are under the bonnet, big fuse box next to the bonnet hinge, there are also relays in the rear under the floor by the battery. Sound to me that your relay is screwed, especialy if you have changed the motor and switch mech. try and get yourself a wireing diagram of the car, this will help in identifying a lot of electrical problems.
