Super-Charger SLK230 not working

Supercharger not working-clutch moves slightly on initial rev. 12v going to clutch- Cleaned MAF sensor.

Cat rattling in exhaust too.

Any ideas please?

Are you definitely sure the MAF is OK? We have a 1999 SLK230 and after 9 years the supercharger didn't appear to be working. Engine was very flat, gear changes were irregular but no misfires. The MAF was the culprit so a new Bosch unit was purchased from ECP.

I had replace the MAF on my C230 V6 18 months ago. The vehicle was 10 years old so maybe 10 years is about the sort of life you get from these units.

I also tried cleaning / unplugging mine but it made no difference.
