Suspension dropped

Yesterday I noticed a couple of clonks from the rear which I hadn´t heard before. After looking at the car I noticed it seems to have dropped about an inch on the drivers side rear. I've had a look underneath and I can't see a coil has snapped,perhaps it has snapped nearer the cup.
Besides a spring breaking,what other possibilities are there? I did wonder about a bush but this has happened suddenly rather than over time.

It could only be a spring...imo.

Spring breakages are all too common.

It will be a spring broken mate, jack the car up and look with a mirror and light. You will see the bottom coil broken off
Or remove the lower wishbone plastic cover and you will see it
