Mercedes blue efficiency 220E CDI Estate
Hi all,

I'm new to the group and have recently purchased my first Mercedes being a 2010 22E estate blue efficiency CDI.....

Yesterday after carrying a heavy load the suspension dropped and the dashboard is saying PLEASE WAIT, CAR RAISING.....

The car does not then go on to raise however......

There are no leaks of fluid as far as I can tell.....

I get the feeling that the suspension needs to be reset (SOMEHOW) but I have little idea as to how to do this.....

If anyone could advise me on this I will be most thankful to you.....🙏👌

I wonder if the airmatic suspension pump has burnt out trying to raise the car whist overloaded?
It really need to be diagnosed with STAR, which can test the whole airmatic system to find the fault.
If you have a local Mercedes specialist that has Star diagnostics, he will be cheaper than using the main dealer for fault finding.

Many thanks for the advice AMgeed.....

The issue is now thankfully resolved......:)

Thankfully I got her from a DECENT car salesman @ Ebay [from Chesterfield] who told me what to do yesterday being;

1. lock the car and leave her for ten minutes
2. Unlock the car and run engine at 2,500 RPM for two minutes
3. Turn engine off for two minutes
4. Start the car and run for a mile or so

Like MAJIC she rose to the correct higher position straight away. The seller told me as this was AS running her for the two minutes in PARK recharged the motor/pump to the rear suspension.....:)
