Switched live drivers side fuse board ??

Trying to find an ignition switched live in the drivers side fuse box in order to fit my dash cam. All the circuits apear to be permanently live. Can anyone help

What year E Class? Unlikely to find one, the cars use CANBUS to switch the live as required so do not have a true switched live. Take one from cig lighter or similar

I was looking for same on my (now sold) W203 at the time, but couldn't find one.... not in the driver's side fuse box anyway. Every single socket I tested was permanently live. Good Luck.

Thanks for the response, 2007 is the year. Sounds like I will have to piggy back from the Cig lighter, hope its not too fiddly to get at.

If not, perhaps glove box illumination, this should be 12v switched
