Great gallery pictures too. You have got all the details there - like a tour of the car!

I was surprised to see the style of the gear lever - I thought that was a design MB had left behind in favour of the "manual style" lever with selection gate fully covered. Plenty of chrome on there for you though

Thanks ... The gear lever is ... interesting .. bit of a throwback to my 202, agreed, but won't need to play with it too much ! Tiptronic with a CVT gearbox works surprisingly well (7 virtual ratios!), but the whole thing works best just left in sports mode ... smoothest Auto box I have driven.

First impressions of the car are very pleasing - more in depth write up in due course.

Its about 50hp down on paper, but makes very nice progress - obviously not quite as swift at the lights ... but hard to tell from the engine note how quickly you are accelerating ... so got to watch the speedo !

... and the increase in fuel economy more than makes up for it !

Dune gold ... yeah, wasn't sure about that. Was torn between silver and black (which also looked nice with all the Chrome) but 'shiny grey' won the day !

Interesting .. just checked the Brabus site http://www.brabus.com/05bbe.htm and its a 'T'245 .... thought it was a 'W' - or are Brabus making things up ?? What's a 'T' ?? - new one on me !

Very nice choice Sym, looks like a corker of a car. The gallery pictures look fantanstic and I'm sure they still don't do the car justice.
