synthetic?

Guys, the oil i bought says: synthetic base oil with cleaning additives. Mb approval 229.5. Nothing about fully semi or blend. Any idea if it is safe?

Your oil is on the latest (2 Oct '14) list of MB229.5 recommended lubricants so it will be absolutely fine, as will the 176 other brands and options on the list! So often it is down to availability, cost and whim.

Thanks Lim. I saw it on the list but in the bottle it states only made by synthetic base and additives. No any other onfo if it is fully semi or blend.This oil can be found easily where i live.

It's highly unlikely to meet MB 229.5 spec without being a fully synthetic oil.

Forthe other addinol oils they clearly say fully synthetic. Take a look addinol superpower 0537 also mb approved 229.5.
