So what is geoff running now? 2x12's?? <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

2 x 12&quot; Fusions, running off a Zapco Amp.
Its tuned to 29Hz &nbsp;<img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Although I fully cut the rear deck, sound still bleeds through to the boot, and makes the entire boot lid go off. I need to fully seal the box to the rear deck, and seal up the rest of the holes as well. (it will be louder then &nbsp;<img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> )

Koolvin, nice pics and I like the indexing of them!

I have got web space where I can view individual pics but I would like to create an index page. Can you help me out or tell me what you use to do it? I am not very good with HTML scripting &nbsp;<img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>

For info, I have had 2 C class mercs. The first was a late 1998 (S) C250TD Sport as a company car and then I bought a C240 (T) when I got out of the scheme. Now I have a CLK430 so I surpose you could say I am on my third C class &nbsp;<img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

I love the old C class, so much more attractive than the new IMO. The new C seems to be less muscular and not as robust!

the CLK is the coupe/cabriolet of the 210 e-class, not the c-class...

geoff, get sealing boy, it will be worth it!! <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">the CLK is the coupe/cabriolet of the 210 e-class, not the c-class...
</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>

However all the underpinings are c-class - not that it makes much difference as it's a sorted setup, however the new CLK chassis (based on the new C-class) is some 40% stiffer than the W208 CLK. The W209 marks the end of the association with the 'E' unfortunatly.  <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>

It may use many components and a very similiar platformn, but this means nothing.

The CLK will still be associated with the E for a while yet, compare the spec level of a c-class to a CLK, miles apart, then compare an e-class, very similiar.

They didnt make a c-class coupe for no reason.

If you know your stuff, you will know that on 202's there are parts used from the 140 s-class, they are very different cars in lots of ways, but still share a lot of things.

True for the 208 CLK, but not so true for the new CLK. With the new CLK you can order just as many options in a C-Class, with only a few things different such as distronic and keyless go.

The main reason I didn't buy the new CLK is because it's no longer associated with the higher end MB's. It looks too much like the C-class which for the kinda money a new CLK costs, I can't justify.

However, compare the inside of an 208 CLK to both a c-class and the 210 e-class. Your find the upper design on the dash from a c-class and the lower from an e-class. Mix and match from both models, however all the mechanic’s are C-class.

I've had 2 w208 CLK's

Of course this is just IMHO. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
