Not that's suitable for a public place:D  :D

I seem to recall someones signature on here that read
*if it aint broke, fix it till it is*

Wasn't yours by any chance was it ?

ah its not run in until youve had it in bits twice, lost the most importaint nuts a good 4 times and throw a paddy and blamed the misses cos you cant put it toeghet a good 6 times for every day your engine is in bits

Speaking as a man who has a 1950 Royal Enfield in the loft in bits.
I'm afraid it is a hopeless cause once the bug has bitten

Whats worse .... is that im starting to get really good at doing it .... Interiors anyway .What happens under the engine is not a consern of mine.

Thinking of changing my Avitar to a picture of a hammer and a condom. "If you cant fix it F*** it" Need to take the shed apart, again. :(

What is the problem with the red shed - are you going to share it?

it always amazes me just how many "spare bits" (particularly nuts and bolts) car manufacturers seem to leave in the engine when they first build them.

Nearly every time you strip something down there is at least one left over and it never seems to affect how the car works :)

Seat Warning Light, see Electrics section. I feel a dash / headlining / seat removal comming on and it worries me as I am hopeless with electrics.

NormanB...........YeeeeHaaaa got it sorted. dodgy connector in the light unit.

he he .... try the wiring on a TVR ..... basically - whatever wires were in the parts bin were used.

Forget about colour coding - or keeping anything close to the wiring diagrams.

Drives you round the flippin bend. And can be quite depressing when you can't trace a problem. That is more than enough to kill off to put you off any form of automotive maintenance.
