Well it sounded a bit like one....
Seems that after my epic exhaust bodge last week I neglected to tighten the flange bolts properly...
Still, better than what I assumed, which was that the bodge job itself had simply fallen apart.
So, point to add to the knowledgebase, exhaust flange bolts done up pinch tight cold last about 90 miles @ 75 mph before *almost* completely undoing...
ho-hum.
