My W210 E240 Elegance, would require approx £600 - 800 being spent to bring it up to a very good condition, I would spend the money on wheel refurbishment and a new sill and a valet.

Should I do this work or sell it as it is???

the car has over faults such as no temp display (electronics!!) and probaly needs a new MAFF, also no main dealer servicing.

Probably worth around 6-7K

Are you selling privately or to the trade?

If privately, yes you will need to bring the car up to scratch for anyone to buy from you at a half decent price.

What year is the W210 as 6-7K sounds optimistic even for a late one with reasonable miles...

Mafs can be bought on ebay for around £50..

First impressions count - especially if selling privately...!

If selling to trade then it is different.

Trade will likely just go off a book value and not even look at the car.

Unless the wheels are *really* scruffy I'd not bother with a refurb, it is sometimes cheaper to buy replacement wheels in better condition off ebay!
