telephone cls 320 2008 ...help please

hi..wonder if anybody can help. I've just bought my first Mercedes...its 2008 cls 320 cdi. the label has telephone function...can anybody advise me had to how I us this? these are the pics of what it says - thank you

The cradle in the armrest needs to be fitted with either a specific holder for the model of phone used (but holders are available only for phones of the era e.g. Nokia etc), or better-still a Bluetooth adapter (which will work also with modern phones). You can get it off eBay.

Your COMAND unit, BTW, is COMAND NTG2 (not to be confused with the newer NTG2.5). This info will be relevant in case you wanted to update the maps. And you may also have an optional CD-Changer in the glove compartment. And an aux/media port as well.

There are also various options for replacing the COMAND NTG2 unit with more-modern alternatives if this is of interest.

thanks so if I buy a bluetooth adapter, just plug it in the glove compartment? and also, yes there is a CD changer in boot, however the car didnt come with the original dvd for the command aps...would I need this...thanks again
