Now here's a thing.

I went to the station to pick up one of the kids yesterday.. after they got in the car I turned around and got to the car park park entrance and stopped to see if there was any on coming traffic (like you do) and the road was clear so I HOOFED the car away trying to get a bit of spin.

The car took off for a bout 2 seconds then it all went quiet... Every thing had died... No lights... to engine... no radio... no nothing.

I coasted for a couple of yards wondering what had happened, stopped, put it in P started in up and drove off...

Any ideas why it might have completely died. It's like someone had just turned the key off..??

Are your battery terminals tight?

Thanks Gys,

I'll check these out. It's been fine before and after that so perhaps with the jolt of a fast exit the battery leads may have moved slightly.
