How much does it cost to fit a new gearbox?

I would say yes you were at that price considering I am selling mine at £1200 less and it runs. Fair enough it doesn't have bi-xenons or AMG alloys but it goes and has had all the usual M271 foibles sorted.

It's 11 years old.

It's scruffy.

It needs a new gear box (and who knows what else).

It really isn't saying £2500 to me. Not even close.

There are plenty of s203 on the market mate

It has no bids, that should tell you that is over priced by about £2000 unless you have the time, space and patience to strip it and sell the spares and still not recoup the asking price
