tempting!!

Whilst there are lots of Kleemann fans in the US, I've not really encountered anyone in the UK that has actually got Kleemann goodies fitted to their car.

If I remember right though, someone from Kleemann UK was a member on here?

I have a friend running the K-box setup on a C200k coupe and heard nothing but praise for it and its quick too. Albeit you're relating to the diesel variant which doesn't require S/C pulleys and air filter obviously but if the petrol tuning components are anything to go by then it will be money well spent. My remap was my favourite mod on my first car even though it was just an N/A 1.8. It only made a small increase in power but the drive was so much more responsive and power delivery was much much smoother with more torque, it actually felt like a whole different car, the characteristics changed completely. definitely worth it especially with the improved fuel consumption the car will return. As soon as insurance permits, their K box tuning kit with headers, sports cat and cat back system are the first things on my shopping list

Where do people go to get the Kleemann parts fitted?

I think the whole point of the K-box is that it's an easy DIY job.

But I guess any garage will fit parts for you. My local main dealer happily fitted aftermarket lowering springs for a member here (forget his name), which he supplied.

My friend did most as DIY jobs but any garage should be able to sort it, I believe they come with all instructions anyway so no need for a haynes comic etc

I ask because the Kleemann HQ in Denmark is a shorter drive (does not include ferry ;) ) than the Sussex outlet for me! Was considering a trip...

tee hee would be a whole lot quicker to get to Sussex though and despite what you may have heard - most of the natives are relatively harmless.

IIRC the Sussex outlet is based in a garage on a used-car dealer's forecourt, famously advertised by Mike Brewer or some other bargain-hunting guru. Depending on price etc I might be happier making a little holiday out of the trip to DK and at least my car will have gone to the HQ etc.

I think a group trip would be quite cool :)

I didn't want to say it in case the proprietor is indeed a member - but what Shude describes above has been a little off-putting for me. It doesn't seem to fit with the prestiege of the MB brand and aspirations of Kleemann. I'm not doubting the quality of their work, simply the perception given by premises. How shallow am I??

Maybe another UK distributor would help, but the demand probably isn't there?

I reckon a trip to Denmark is a great idea!!
