I would like to say thank you to Dieselman and other forum members who gave me advice about a turbo problem I was having. I had a fault with the actuator motor, and was informed (correctly) that Mercedes do not supply replacements, which means the whole turbo has to be replaced
I asked about this on the forum, and almost immediately was given advice on how to source a cheaper turbo. However, even better, Deiselman quickly posted a link to a company that will repair the actuator motor, which I very much doubt I would have found myself. I used this company rather than replacing the turbo, and saved well over £1000 by doing so
