Just wanted to share with you my thanks to my MB for being a classy cruiser one minute, a very powerful beast the next, and then a work horse to boot. Yesterday on a demolition site - i winced a little when reversing in over the made up ground

Aye, its an all cars to all men type of car. You can throw anything at an E class and they cope with any driving situation (nice drive in the country, daily grind of commuting, and going to the tip)

My 124 Estate. Its my limo, my tow car, my skip (got a boot protector tub in the back) my gardening buddy, my people carrier (grand children have a hoot sitting "backwards" looking out") Best of all its a Mercedes. Solid, reliable, classy. Just had new wings on the front (cheap ones) If you happen to be at the Midland's GTG feel free to have a quiet rap with your knuckles (on the wings!!) and see if I made the right decision. Will I trade it for two grand for a Euro box? Not a cat in hells....

Indeed I still can't think of anything I would replace mine with - it's been on a building site

it's been stuck in snow

But wherever it's been, it's been comfortable, warm, quick and dependable. If it were an S class I'd be too afraid of damaging such an expensive car, if it were a Vectra I'd never bother washing it, and would run it 25000 miles between services...
