I asked d w124 - via pm - If he would keep an eye out for a leather interior in grey for my 124 Estate.
d w124 does not miss much in the world of 124's and guess what. Today I collected a grey leather interior for my estate from Southwest-Merc's (also trading as SLPagoda.com) John who runs the place is a great guy and very helpful. If you need a part for your Mercedes give John a bell on 07899 801373. He is in Gloucester, his place is an Alladin’s Cave of parts.

Big thanks also to Ian Walker at 124 Works for a rapid change of interiors.
I look forward to meeting d w124 in London at the 124 GTG so I can thank him personally.

Without the forum I guess I would never have found the interior I wanted. Rare beasts now 124's. Scrappage has seen a lot off I guess.

He also helped me with my dishwasher and it aint a 124 model.....:D

o how much was the interior and it is the later type with lines horizontially did u get the door cards 2 and the seventh seat??

i missed similar on car w124 estate with private plate for £900 by the time i called it was sold and it was e300 diesel

Yes it was the later type with the horizontal lines. All four door cards and the occasional seats for the luggage area were included, headrests - all five. It came out of an "N" Reg 280 Estate, so the very last of the interiors available. Price - That is between myself and John in Gloucester. Lets just say a gentlemanly price was agreed and we both parted content with the deal done. 300 mile round trip for me but well worth it.
I had tried looking on ebay and in autotrader for an estate with grey leather to break, no luck or the price went too high.
