Just had my renewal, currently with sky, last year paid £840 for my cls55 AMG with its mods.
9 yrs NBC and its protected...
Changed to E63 AMG, with same mods and the renewal came through at £860

Comparison site cheapest was admiral at £1800.

First time I have ever renewed with an insurance company, very competitive

It's a surprise they don't force you to pay a fortune monthly for a load of **** you don't want and accompany it with piss poor customer service... until I found out their not affiliated.

That's certainly a good premium.

What are the Mods Sheepy??

Mods are
C/F bits all over, splittter, diffuser, roof spoiler, roof wrapped, changed front grill, 20 inch wheels ( monarchs ), spacers and lowered all round
Engine is standard as is the exhaust

Interesting, maybe they are competitive with modified cars but they certainly weren't when I got an instant quote for a standard car,nearly 40% more expensive.
No doubt if I had rung them and provided full details it would have been less but 2 points arise,would it have gone down 40% plus,and if it is necessary to phone them to get a sensible quote why have the instant quote facility in the first place?
It put me off from bothering with them no doubt it will others.
