It's still out there - took me about 1 minute to locate it. Nobody in our locality on the list though.

    Oh right.

Been away for ages, did not realise the sensitivity of the board to politics.

Mods delete the thread is need be.

Helmut Gregor (retd) sends his best!

I believe there were quite a few "retired members" on the list with addresses in Paraguay.

I know a couple of members and the logic they used for voting for them was sound.

I still think the BNP is by and large a twisted organisation though.

As for the list being made public, utterly disgraceful.

It's my understanding that anyone is entitled to whatever political beliefs they wish.

It's just as wrong for you to criticise their politics as it would be for them to criticise yours. Or is there no right to free speech/thought any more? (Unless it is 'acceptable' to 'right-thinking' people?)

Well, someone will publish it sooner or later.

Wikileaks. And that list will NOT disappear from the internet.

    Cheers

The car set on fire belonged to... a neighbour of the (supposed) BNP member. D'oh! Reminds me of the Portsmouth anti-paedo mob that who targeted a paediatrician... :(

x2. Whilst I don't agree with what the BNP party says, I don't also agree with other political parties and IMHO what is happening to their members is wrong. I heard on the radio a policeman was suspended from duty because he was on that list, I don't see why this should be the case. Has there been any misconduct or is it because "they" don't like his views. If this were the green party (IMHO an extremely dangerous radical lot) none of this hysteria would happen.

It's a specific condition of office that police are not members of certain political groups, among them the BNP.
