Jay, if you don't mind could you give an indication as to how much this repainting has cost ? Thanks.

Nice original interior. The walnut wouldn't be to my taste but looks nice and original. Have to like the phone!

Wow I am soooo jealous...

...what's the square black box just below the passenger's door release? Auxiliary speaker?

...wondering because I'd like to improve the sound quality in my W124 - the rear parcel shelf can take bigger units easily, but the options up front are rather limited.

Cheers, Chris

Looks like a US style cup holder from here...

Love the originality inside (not my taste though). What is the 'Tempmatic' function for? Also, I take it that the stereo is not original? If not it doesn't look out of place and again I like the style of it.

Well done mate!!!!

They would charge circa £3-4K to someone who doesnt give them thousands in work each month.

This doesn't sound too bad for the quality. I need to budget for something similar in the future for my 928. It's just a few bubbles on the aluminium wings at the moment, and the roof's a different colour, and the front and rear plastic bumbers, and one of the mirrors is heavily scratched, and the rear wing has cracked paint.....
Did I mention I'd like to delete the side rubbing strips.

I have no contacts with local paint shops as any previous work have been via insurance approved bodyshops, and I'd rather find someone smaller. I'd also want the paintwork flatting back prior to clearcoat.

good job keep her lit
