Bath Store are absolute rubbish with super-inflated prices and the world's most gormless and least helpful stuff - IMO :)

OP - have a look on EBay. I have just had a brand new bathroom fitted and I bought everything off EBay at very very very reasonable prices, although you will have to hunt for the best deals. Try a place called Better Bathrooms in Manchester (think they are called bathrooms2go on EBay) - good prices with great service.

Thanks all. Got on well today at Reading and Chertsey and feel like I have been saved from a bathroom nightmare.

Do not buy anything off eBay unless it is branded and a known quantity. EG - square countertop basins with one corner lower than the others, high quality taps that are incapable of delivering water without noise like an aircraft takeoff (and its not the pressure or piping!!!).
CP Hart in Guildford were incredibly arrogant IMHO. £1000+vat for a channel drain for a wetroom, "discounted already Sir".
StevenN on here knows his stuff (cheers chap!).
Or speak to Al or Dave at ABL Plumbing and Heating in Camberley, we've got
shares in them now after 4 bathrooms, most of the CH refreshed, new utility room etc etc.

Tell them John Leonard recommended you.

While you're at it, speak to Jim or Shaun at Ceramic Tile Warehouse around the corner from Al and Dave ;)
