She needs to "own" the problem and feels a LR forum would suit her needs better.

She tells me it turns over but won't fire up.
Then it does fire up and runs fine (driving perfectly).
However, if switched off, next time it won't start again

I had this issue on a Saab Diesel. Turns out it was an issue with fuel lines that had collapsed internally. Was a great relief after being quoted £2.5K for new fuel pump!
