As some of you know, in the past I have had a habit of changing cars on a weekly basis but the one I’m now selling certainly bucked that trend - some 15 months - which is mostly down to how much of an all rounder this car really has been for us - great fuel economy, go anywhere with the 4wd, vanlike qualities being an estate, plenty of modern toys plus plenty of room for our family of five.

First thing to note is that it’s on the insurance register as a category C - I bought it from the first owner (I’m the second owner on the logbook) who’d had the work done quite some time before I bought it - I’ve had no bother whatsoever during my ownership relating to that matter.

Anyway, enough of the waffling, here’s the details:

Full logbook in my name registered to my address.

Two keys

Cheap £140 a year tax

Full original handbooks

MOT June 2019

Full VW main dealer service history - an oil change is due now and been booked in.

Cam-belt and water pump done at last VW service at 108k miles.

I had new gearbox housing, dual mass flywheel and clutch done at 122k miles along with the air conditioning pump all at a cost of £2,000.

Over 60mpg achievable on a run - I get around 40-45mpg driving local.

Top specification as follows:

18" "Canyon" alloys

Cloth/Alcantara Black/Grey seats

Parking sensors front and rear

Heated front and rear seats

Satellite Navigation system - DAB - Bluetooth music & phone - CD - Aux

Dual zone climate air conditioning

Heated windscreen

Multifunction steering wheel

Cruise control

Electric heated mirrors

4x electric windows

Automatic hill hold - no need to put handbrake on; this turns it on and off automatically.

Park assist (car parks itself when activated)

Start-stop technology

Tyre pressure monitoring system

To summarise:

No finance outstanding - owned outright.

Other than the gearbox/flywheel/aircon pump bill it's been a great car for our family, only for sale due to me having a company car on order. Coupled with the cam belt and water pump also being done recently it should give many years of good service.

It's performed impeccably during our 15 months of ownership - I would (and have done) get in this car and drive anywhere in the country.

As with all cars of a certain mileage, there are age related marks and the alloys could possibly do with a respray but I've allowed for these bits in my valuation - ask if there's anything specific you'd like to know because condition is very subjective - the car will never win a concourse competition but it will be a great servant to your needs.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch and I'll answer the best I can.

If it helps you, I might take a part exchange so I’ve got something to tootle about in until the company car comes.

What’s the price I hear you ask?

Just the £7,000...

Think I listed this too cheap - phone didn’t stop ringing and I got what I wanted for it without fuss!
