On BBC4 at 9:30 tonight.

It's a documentary on the 1955 Le Mans crash which killed over 80 people. I've seen it already and recommend you watch it. The photo montage 'before and after' sequence near the end is chilling.
 
Followed , as before , by Hamster's interview with Sir Stirling Moss .

2 hours excellent viewing and worth recording if not already done !
 
i saw this on BBC 3 or 4 earlier in the year

weird how 1 thing can cause such a chain of events like that

he should have looked in his mirrors
 
It was also on late one night, not that long ago.

Shocking, but a great watch, indeed.

Ultimately, the cars became more powerful over time, but the track was in no way modified to reflect this increase in performance.
Very sad, indeed. :(

Also, check out the strange twist, which is mentioned towards the end! :eek:

Almost enough to put a shiver down your spine. :crazy:
