I noticed recently that my ML is lower on the drivers side than the rest of the car.

Also when I lock it with the remote it makes a gush of air sound from the drivers side front. I spoke to the place who last serviced it (Monarch) and they said they advised the last owner to change 2 of the plastic brackets linked to the suspension. My question is would simply changing the brackets cure it?

I don't really want to go down the route of someone chasing new parts to possibly cure it so would like to know who is good at sorting this kind of thing local to me that know the ML's quite well, which is near Basingstoke.

You could just lay off the pies !

Pentangle in Southampton are good too if that’s closer to you. My GL developed a list to starboard last year. Rear airbag had a leak. The air sound is the valve block dumping air through the compressor air filter, normal operation in most cases.

A quick update.

It was booked in yesterday with a local Merc specialist nr Hartley Witney (first time I've used them) and the plastic levers on each corner need replacing. I can't think of the specific name but these need replacing first which might or might not cure it. I've been quoted £20 a corner then 1 hours labour @£65 with vat on top.

Good result Nat!

Would that be Tim Purslow Mercedes? Very good indy. I've used them a few times. Sadly now moved away.

No, it was Hampshire service centre. I've used TP before for my wife's car but found out afterwards it would have been cheaper to take it to Merc themselves, I now give them a miss. They were pleasant enough to deal with though.

My ML is sitting level now after having all four level sensors replaced. It feels so much better.
