I’m changing from my C55 to an E63, which isn’t a done deal yet but is looking likely.
The E63 in question is a 2016 estate, and the way the owner described it was “pretty much the only thing is doesn’t have is the reversing camera and heated rear seats”.

I don’t care about the seats, but I’d be interested in whether the reversing camera could be retro-fitted, if anyone knows?

Of course it can :) MB sell the kit

Bingo, thanks.

I retro fitted the reverse cam myself using the OEM kit. Was around £450 IIRC. It was in a 2012 CLS 218.

Just had a peek at the car, very nice. Is it not a bit pricey for a 5+ owner car? (I have read the explanation) Not full dealer history either as well which I would have expected for at least the 1st three years. For a 4 year old car to have changed hands that many times would be off putting to me.

Oh and btw, I wonder what else it does not have apart fro the things mentioned? Certainly does not have rear entertainment, does not appear to have distronic/radar (or whatever its called). Has it got dynamic seats?

Perhaps ask some of the 63 owners on here regarding price and spec?

Only 3 services?

Interesting accessories in picture 14...has it been a vomit comet for kids?

Is it missing a service?

Unless you REALLY need the extra size i would keep the 55.

Yes, missed first 2.
Still listed as Full Service History though. :wallbash:
The owner tells me that it has the first two services at MB, then the following two at Indys- is this not the case?

Owner says first two with MB, third with an Auto Centre, third with a Bristol MB specialist.

1. Mercedes Benz Retail Group (2018)
2. Lindleys Auto Centre (2020)
3. Parkway Automobile Engineering (2020)

Thanks for that, and to make sure that I understand what I’m looking at that is from an MB system?

Also, and forgive my ignorance, the first service should have been within the first year (which I guess could have been 2017 on a 2016 car)?

Does seem like a lot of owners for 4 year old car?

I asked about the owners thing, the chap selling it said that as far as he knew he was the second owner, and that the first owner(s) were all the same person, but that it might have been registered first to MB, then to a finance company, and finally to the first physical owner, as it were.

I’m not married to this car so if you chaps think I should run away I will very much listen to you.
