Possibly there's a lot of truth in that. But the rest of the world doesn't deserve Trump or Clinton.
The American presidential campaign has been been reduced to the level of a Reality Televison show. Trump of course hosted such a show for many years which majors on humiliation [ the Apprentice] . Its as if the boundaries between the artificial and the actual have now disappeared and the Americans now find themselves in some grotesque game show where reality takes a back seat.
J he will get his wings clipped by both houses and will get very little of his outrageous policies through.
Donald Trump is a hard-nosed businessman and a bully. He has no idea how governments work and will simply mess things up badly both at home now broad. On the plus side, since he has little understanding of how the political system works, he will get his wings clipped by both houses and will get very little of his outrageous policies through.
...Remember, Bill will be calling a lot of the shots behind Hillary. He obviously does what he is told by the 13 families...
...Trump...If be becomes President, he will merely be the electable face of powerful vested interests who know exactly how government works and who will ensure that their objectives are met and their ideas are enacted with Trump having little if any input into the process.
So who actually rules the American people?
This helps clear some of the populist or non educated myths.

Are the wheels finally coming off the Trump bandwagon?
Some of our esteemed members on here do not seem to believe that America is governed by the people and for the people.
