But the biggest seller, the Tesla 3 is rubbish, and has been since it was introduced. It’s novel, and interesting but the build quality is dreadful and it simply cannot be driven by “just anyone” who jumps in and needs to drive anywhere. It’s simply not user friendly

While the Y is outclassed by the Kia and Ioniq, with MG snapping at its heels for slightly more than half price.

The Tesla S was a great introduction, but it’s built for American roads, and its almost S class size is unsuitable for UK roads.

I have a 2023 Model 3 Performance - that is actually built in the Shanghai factory for the Middle East market.
It replaced a 2017 Audi TTS.
The Tesla is faster, quieter, smoother, less expensive to run and goes round corners, launches from the lights etc. much better than the Audi.
Reliability has been faultless and the only costs after covering 54,000 km have been a replacement cabin filter (a Tesla mobile technician came to my home to fit this for a total cost of £47).
Fit and finish is on a par with our other German cars, past & present.
I fitted a new set of tyres at 44,472km and instead of the expensive EV specific Pirelli’s that the car came with - I fitted a set of Falkens that cost £465 including fitting. I dont notice any difference between these and the EV specific tyres (that have a foam layer inside them to reduce noise).
I am saving a fortune on petrol costs - having a home charger and good electricity rates.
The only car that has ever beaten me from the traffic light drag race was a Tesla Model S Plaid.

They are only quoting what they have read. They've not got a clue, really.
People who have actually got one, know what they are talking about.

It might go round corners.....but at nearly half a ton heavier than the lower TT....it certainly wont corner as well as that!!!

Honestly - it corners far better than the TT

Fair enough....the ones Ive driven (delivered one a while back) felt heavy and not keen to change direction in a hurry.....cant beat physics.......but as long as you like it.
