The other problem with high powered electric cars is the shock risk after an accident. If you look at F1 cars they now have red and green lights below or beside the TV camera bracket, to warn when it's safe to touch the car or not.

He may have overdone something (as usual), but the best drivers can, and will apply brakes whilst cornering. I'm not going to name drop but I've tried it and it's damned hard to get right.
