I was discussing with someone this topic (like you do!) and this is my nomination. The Ferrari 288GTO only 272 made then Niki Lauda asked for one so then there were 273 !

Whats yours, or do you just agree!

I agree the gearchange is a so an so and the clutch takes two feet to depress it! But noise and style are lovely.

ah, sorry, perhaps i should do the members gallery. seems to be the same as the other manc, steve bcs...320 mystic blue, black nappa, 18 inch splits, etc. had it a month. 2000 model, 40k miles. really nice. thanks for the welcome.

i was just messing. i do like the sl though and would argue it to be among the best cars ever - especially the earlier ones ie 1975. just love that shape. hey, cars are just nice.

I love 'em and would agree that it is one of the best cars ever (partly because I'm on my second one, and partly because, from your number plate, I'm assuming you're a fellow (Man) City fan - Up The Blues!!
