Just picked up the GL320 this morning. Very impressed so far, it is one HUGE machine to look at but easy to drive and doesnt feel as big as it is. It was nicely presented in the Merc showroom and looked the business in black with privacy! Makes the Disco 3 look a little small! It must be at least 50cm longer. It makes my drive look tiny to, D3 not going back until end of May so, with the Mini as well and the garage conversion about to start its going to be interesting!
Initial comments; COMAND satnav is very fiddly compared with iDrive, keep wanting to touch the screen and its isnt a touchscreen system. Leather feels and looks fantastic, leather extends to the whole of the front dash. Made sure that the dealer delivered it full of diesel at his expense, he commented that it cost them £115
to top up!
