there's a twin turbo V6 CDi

what is surprising is that a standard V6 (3.5 litre) develops 306hp ..

the twin turbos provide an additional 27hp, albeit from a 3.0 litre engine.

no doubt twin turbo is more torquey.

don't understand why twin turbo engine is not in R231 SL 350

Will they can the M276 soon. Iirc Mika has one in his E estate.

The new twin turbo engine will be more economical but not by much but be tunable.

Could future AMG models get upgraded versions of this unit. Be good in a C class!!!

Where in Taiwan?
I have been there 4 times as my Brother lived in Chiayi for 13 years..
Have you been up the 101 building ?
I have and its quite something to behold..
When you stand at the base the building seems to lean over you (Look at photo 2).

I took some photos of Taipei 101 while I was there :D

What an amazing energy that country had... I could actually see myself living there, which is unusual considering I only spent 2 weeks in Taipei.

I thought Taipei101 was more impressive than Dubai's attempt to be honest.

I took 1 shot while underneath it, and the other shot was taken climbing the tallest mountain that's closest to it. It didn't take long to get up the mountain, it wasn't that high, good workout too and the view was incredible (probably not done justice in the photo as my digital camera is just some cheapo Sony one).

Tiawan, diesel engines, nice photos. Off topic but this is my sort of thread.

Adam, why not start a proper OT thread about your trip. It would be interesting for others to see.
