These Are The Greatest Engines Of The Last Decade M156 6.3

It is a brilliant engine in terms of power delivery. It may not be as torque heavy as the m113 or 5.5tt beasts but it is so effortless, linear and precise in delivering power. Also has enough torque to bother the traction control all the time too.

The 6.2 litre engine is still fitted to the AMG GT3, and only needs to be stripped down afte 25,000 racing miles. That does make it a bit spesh.

Nice to see mine is up there too :)

That’s more miles than a typical M156 owner puts on their car in a whole life.

;-)

At least it can go around corners :D

Gutted than mine has to go. Had the privilege of 45,000 miles of M156 fun though, and a lot of that on the German Autobahn. 180mph 7 seater. It is the perfect all rounder. And that noise...

But I've now moved to Switzerland where tax is based on engine size, of which I'm pretty sure is a exponential scale!
